Bubble Bliss: Nestlé Unveils New Nutty Aero Bar
Two 90g bars of Nestle Aero Choco Hazelnut

Chocolate lovers are going nuts for the latest new offering from Nestle, which has hit UK shelves just in time for the run-up to Easter 2024.

The new Aero Choco Hazelnut bar is a marriage of light and bubbly milk chocolate and nutty goodness, and it comes as welcome news after Nestlé discontinued two of its classic chocolate bars in 2023.

Consumers were left disgruntled last year when Animal Bar and Caramac were both given the axe by Nestlé, causing thousands of consumers to flock to social media to express their disgust.

The new Aero bar has not yet appeared on the official Aero website, and we are unable to confirm whether it's a limited edition or here for the long-run. However, the eye-catching turquoise packaging does not state anywhere that it is a limited version, so let's hope it will be here to stay!

Hazelnuts and chocolate are an indulgent combination, and the 90g sharing bar will delight the tastebuds of Aero fans across the United Kingdom. It is available to buy in many leading British supermarkets and online stores.

Nestlé also announced in a press release (Jan 30 2024), that it's introducing a new, larger 145g share bar of Aero Peppermint, which is available to buy right now.

The first Aero bars were introduced back in 1935, but were only available in the North of England in that year. The unique bubbly texture was like no other chocolate bar at the time, and it became such a hit with chocolate lovers, that by 1936, it had reached the shelves of New York stores.

Many unusual Aero flavours have been released over the years, including lime, vanilla milkshake and strawberry, would you believe?

Thankfully, chocolate hazelnut is a tried and tested, classic combination of flavours, so hopefully, it will be around for many years to come. The additional joy of the creamy aerated chocolate makes Aero Choco Hazelnut a real winner, as you feel the bubbles melt on your tongue.

Nestlé has also relaunched its After Eight Mini Eggs for Easter 2024, and we have already spotted these on sale in Tesco and Morrison's stores. Also relaunched is the Kit Kat Cookie Dough egg (which is similar in size to the Cadbury Creme Egg), so look out for these, too.

Also new for 2024 is the KitKat Incredible Caramel Cookie Collision Easter Egg. Now, that's quite a mouthful in every sense of the word!

With all of these new chocolate products by Nestlé, 2024 is shaping up to be a much more positive year for the confectionary giant. Let's hope so!
